Stephanie fell in love with a bag I'd shown her in a discussion around an online LinkedIn challenge, and decided to get one made in her favorite colors for Christmas. After choosing the materials from my stock together, I quickly made it so she'd have it in time under the tree. This fun and exciting collaboration resulted in this daring and classy shoulder bag.

I met Stephanie in an online LinkedIn challenge and she helped me when I was down. After talking about our jobs, she fell in love with a bag I'd shown her and decided to get one made in her favorite colors.
By a stroke of destiny, I had bought just the right materials on a whim a couple of months before.

I went back to the store to pick a selection of lining fabrics for her, which I showed her in real time by telephone. Back at the workshop, and after she chose the hardware colors from videos I sent her, I quickly made it so she'd have it in time under the tree.

A fun and exciting collaboration which resulted in this daring and classy shoulder bag.

How does payment work?

As standard, payment is split into 3:

  • 40% when you order, as a non-refundable deposit;
  • 30% when I start working;
  • 30% when it ships, for the balance.

You can pay by bank transfer (preferred), card or PayPal.

Are technical fabrics (sport, dance, running) as sturdy as a classic fabric once transformed?

It depends on the fabric, but in most cases, yes. The stretch and fineness of some of these materials (lycra, softshell or technical jersey, for example) are actually an asset for Kinusaiga panels, and conversely, they're compensated for very well in leatherwork with reinforcements (interfacing, lining), just like any other delicate textile. These fabrics also tend to have excellent resistance to abrasion and friction, which is a real plus for bags and wallets.
